Skippers

Ghego

Ghego

Francesco (Ghego) began his navigator career in 1994 as a sailing instructor in Sardinia. During that time, he travelled the routes of the Mediterranean. In 1996, he crossed the Atlantic for the first time and navigated a variety of sailing boats between the Caribbean Sea, Venezuela, and USA. Afterwards he took part of a world tour on a Mauric 64. Since 1998, Ghego has been working on yachts from 72 to 110 feet long. He has crossed the Atlantic back and forth 15 times in his life and has more than 110.000 sea miles behind him. He is also the founder of Altamarea, the sailing charter company under which Yogaandsailing started.

Boats

The sailboat is our floating home for one week, our skippers live on them most of the year and make them as comfortable and homy as possible. Space is limited on board compared to a motor boat, or to a hotel room. So pack what's necessary, you don't need much when most of the day you're sailing, doing yoga or swimming!

In case of unpredictable causes (Force Majeure) make either Mizar 3 or Jep VI or Chia unavailable for the holiday week, we will organize the yoga and sailing week on one of the other 2 boats. Should all 3 be unavailable, on a similar boat with the same if not higher equipment as the unavailable ones.
